How can we maximize the value of all the data we have in and around our properties? That was the topic of \u00a0a discussion seminar at Norbygg 2024, with several Dig-IT Lab members in the panel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday, April 25th, Jon \u00c5kerstr\u00f6m, Kiona, Anders Bj\u00f6rling, Castellum, Joakim Eriksson, RISE, Jonas Anund Vogel, KTH, and Installat\u00f6rsf\u00f6retagen gathered on stage at Nordbygg 2024. The topic of the day was the role of collaboration among stakeholders in the ecosystem of the built environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panel discussed the potential of structured building data to tackle environmental challenges, enhance energy efficiency, boost net operating income, and elevate property values. They also addressed the challenges and opportunities inherent in building data, spanning from data consolidation and data sharing to knowledge dissemination, exploring technical solutions, AI opportunities, security concerns, as well as financial and political incentives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jon \u00c5kerstr\u00f6m, from the proptech software company Kiona, emphasised how delivering open, flexible, and independent solutions can address pressing issues within the industry. The panel agreed that structured, consolidated building data is a key for progress in our industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis approach, I believe, is key to unlocking new opportunities for innovative solutions that benefit everyone involved,\u201d says Jon \u00c5kerstr\u00f6m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
