Dig-IT Lab advances research that reduces the climate impact of buildings through digitalisation. By uniting academia, industry and society, the centre accelerates the development of new smart products and services for the built environment, shortening the lead times between research results and real-world application.

As a collaborative hub for knowledge and innovation in the digitalisation of the built environment, Dig-IT Lab conducts its projects in close partnership between academia, industry and societal actors. The goal is for the data, findings and insights generated within the centre to be transparent and accessible to everyone.

Research and collaboration within Dig-IT Lab make it possible to realise the potential of digitalisation throughout the entire life cycle of buildings. This work aims to generate a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions, increase the legitimacy and validity of the research carried out, and speed up the market introduction of new innovative technologies and methods. It also leads to useful knowledge and the development of the right skills.
